Patriots Links for Monday, 12/10
Yesterday's win over Pittsburgh naturally had a lot of national attention:
Len Pasquarelli at ESPN.com has a column about Anthony Smith's mistakes both on and off the field regarding the Patriots, and Pasquarelli guarantees no one will say anything that could incite the Patriots for the rest of the season.
SI.com's Dan Perloff declares that the Patriots are the best passing offense in the NFL of all-time, because their passing game works so well even when they abandon the run.
Don Banks guarantees that the Patriots will now go undefeated for the rest of the season after dismantling the Steelers.
Over at the Globe, Christopher L. Gasper has a game recap. He also collaborated with Mike Reiss on a notes column about the game.
Reiss also has an article about the Patriots' decision to pass for their first 26 plays of the second half and a slew of updates to his blog.
Jennifer Toland writes that the defense made a statement, particularly in the second half.
Michael Vega has an article about the play of the game, a flea-flicker play from Brady to Moss to Brady to Gaffney for a TD.
Jim McCabe has a column on Anthony Smith's postgame reaction.
Jackie MacMullan also discusses the aftermath of Smith's guarantee.
Dan Shaughnessy writes about the Patriots' insistence on not discussing going undefeated.
The Boston Herald has many similar stories, which are conveniently listed. I don't mean to show favoritism to the Globe by listing only their stories individually today, just that a lot of stories are similar and I don't have a ton of time to list them all out today.
The views expressed in these FanPosts are not necessarily those of the writers or SBNation.
