hello guys and gals

You may find this video interesting.  This is called "The best of Rany Moss".  I had to marvel at his superhuman abilities.  At least once per game he does something that leaves me with my jaw firmly fixed to my sternum.  Something that you couldn't possibly imagine being possible... whether he does a jumping full extension one handed catch on a 60mph pass or he reaches around a defender whose going to intercept and manages to bounce the ball over the guy's head and catch it himself or gets held and tripped and still manages to land underneath a 60 yard pass.  The man is unbelievable.  Here it is:

Did you notice
in that video, in the clip from the first Dolphins game, there's a guy in the background wearing a Jason Taylor jersey.  Moss make the catch and the fan raises his arms to signal touchdown (or perhaps disbelief).  He doesn't even look pissed--he looks amazed.

Marvin Harrison did that to me last year when he caught that touchdown by spinning around 180 degrees, laying flat out straight over the out line and hanging on to the endzone with his tippy-toes to make the catch.  It was hard to even be pissed off: there's nothing you can say about a super play like that.  If you can't defend it, congratulations to them for making it happen.

I think Moss makes more of those kind of plays than anyone I've ever seen.

I agree
If you haven't listened to the Week 9 Pats-Colts 10-minute clip of the game (somewhere in the NFL Network archives online), it's a hoot.  The play is called by the Colt's home-boy announcers and the only time these guys got excited about a Pat's anything was when calling Randy Moss's leaping one-handed grab of a catch in the 3rd quarter.

Some plays -and players- just transcend one particular team and are simply to be enjoyed and marveled at by everyone.

Keep the faith!

Yeah Moss is amazing (still don't like him)
But dis on my boy Bob Lamey. He is the rock that keeps me sane. He gives credit where credit is due, but he doesn't like it. What Home team fan would gush over the teams plays and players? He's an announcer for the Colts fans, not for who they're playing. Have you heard the Yankees radio guy and girl? Now that is homerism. PUKE!! They have nothing to say positive ever about another team, and their team is a team of cherubim and deities. (angels and gods)

Don't misunderstand...
...Gotta LOVE the home-boy announcers!  If they can't rah-rah loudly for the hometeam, where else on the airwaves are you gonna get some love???

My sons were laughing out loud at the tone differential when they called any Colts play against any Patriots play.  We wouldn't expect any less.  : )

Keep the faith!
