Je'Rodd Cherry raffling his 1st Super Bowl ring for charity....
"Cherry, who now resides in Macedonia, is raffling off his ring from Super Bowl XXXVI after the 2001 season to benefit and create awareness for Asia's Hope, which builds orphanages for kids rescued from slave trafficking in Asia and Africa. "
"Tickets can be purchased at netraffle.org for $2 apiece with a minimum purchase of five.
The winning ticket will be randomly drawn by a computer on Nov. 27.
The winner will receive the 14-karat white gold Super Bowl ring worn by Cherry. It features 142 diamonds, red garnets and blue sapphires in the Patriots logo, platinum, a large marquis diamond and two tapered baguette diamonds. The ring is valued at $53,750.
Cherry said the winner also will be a paid a sum equal to the estimated taxes of $16,000. "
