Mercury Morris...
…anyone else tired of this guy? I’d say any talk of going undefeated for an entire season is dramatically premature after 5 games. It definitely was for us last year, and it is now as well.
Second, while the Titans are a solid and improved team, I can’t imagine a Kerry Collins led offense not having a hiccup or two along the way. Though they do have a “soft” chunk of games in their upcoming schedule, they also face Indianapolis twice (who could get things together by then), the Steelers, and the Pack. None of those teams may be the dominant juggernauts they once were, but all should pose formidable challenges to the Titans’ run. The Bears and Jaguars could also throw a wrench in thigns as well.
But logic aside, I really just hate Mercury Morris after all his pontification last year.
Morris
A rant is coming. Thanks for the incentive. :-)

I was wondering
how he was dealing with being irrelevant again. The Titans won’t be undefeated for much longer, in my opinion too.
Also, I take exception with the doctor interviewed by The Herald who insinuates that Brady’s infection is rare. He is an expert, but my humble experience has shown several people close to me have had knee surgery and have had to reopen the site due to infection. Peyton Manning had the same thing. It seems more of a byproduct of surgery, instead of anything in particular to do with the knee itself.
Keep the faith!
Knee surgery
My daughter has had 2 knee surgeries and both had infection issues. It’s very common, according to her docs.
