ESPN - How wrong can you be?

Okay, so everybody messes up once in a while, but this is getting a little ridiculous. It's actually kinda funny now.

A few days ago, The Boston Globe reported...

The Patriots released the following statement tonight regarding an ESPN report that the organization was upset with quarterback Tom Brady for choosing to have knee surgery in Los Angeles rather than locally.

"Today, ESPN cited an unnamed source who supposedly expressed the feelings of the Patriots ‘organization.’ This unsubstantiated report does not represent the team's views whatsoever. We have supported Tom Brady one hundred percent from day one of this process and will continue to do so. We issued a statement last Saturday expressing our complete organizational support for Tom. That support includes all aspects of the process. Unfortunately, our statement was not mentioned or referenced in ESPN’s report. Today, we reiterate our total support for Tom as he recovers from his injury."

Here's our latest story (published tonight) regarding Brady's knee.

Shortly afterward, the evil Patriots are accused by none other than ESPN of placing bounties on other players' heads. Here is a picture of "our very own" Terell Suggs being quoted on the issue.

Suggs_medium

ESPN seems to be a little confused over where Terell Suggs actually plays. Don't worry Baltimore - we're pretty sure he still plays for the Ravens. It's just that whenever there's some sort of devious plot going on in the NFL, it's automatically safe to assume that Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots were behind it, right? Why else would the Patriots logo be there? ;)

The views expressed in these FanPosts are not necessarily those of the writers or SBNation.

Good catch

Just because we’re paranoid, doesn’t mean everyone isn’t out to get us.

I know that bias is out there even though everyone denies it and calls us oversensitive. ESPN should have their opinionated ex-players and coaches on staff to provide an edge and their particular slant, but the NEWS should always be objective and unbiased. The minute it crosses the gossip, rumor and innuendo line, the trust for whatever else you do is evaporated. It’s one reason I wasn’t listening to anyone about Tom’s knee until I heard Adam Schefter discuss it on WEEI. He’s the football guy I trust the most.

Keep the faith!

I'm glad you guys don't have Suggs

he’s the youngest player in the active top 25 in sacks.
