Don't know if there's anyone left

but I thought Cassel had a very solid game. I give him 1/2 an INT today, a coupla double-pump errors, a keeper that should have been a throwaway, and one tank job. Other than that, better than good.

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

I feel better about Matt

His pocket presence has improved a lot in my mind. He’s moving up in the pocket vs. horizontal and throwing the ball away or running when needed.

definitely improved in the pocket

His decisions were definitely faster today, not just in making his reads to his receivers but also in situations where he would tuck and run or throw the ball away. And unlike in past games, he didn’t hang back and get into many “coverage sack” problems where he just left his o-line out to dry by taking too long with the ball. One of his two picks was an unlucky deflection, but he also got real lucky on that end zone drop by St. Louis that could have easily killed a drive.

Exactly

Our crowd was all pretty much in agreement that Cassel has shown a lot of improvement, especially in those “coverage sack” areas. I agree with your assessment of both picks too, in that they weren’t “stupid” interceptions. His passes were for the most part on target, and it was his receivers who had a few drops today.

Good game all around. I absolutely loved seeing Richard Seymour striking fear into the QB’s heart, forcing Bulger into bad throws and making his presence known on Defense.

Keep the faith!

Cassel was more aggresive today

which was good and bad, unfortunately i had company in the second half of the game and couldn’t follow it the way I would have like to.

I think

we’re moving along nicely. 5-2 without Brady…I have no major complaints about that. If TN can party all over the Colts tomorrow they will be in desperate need of a win come next week – which will heat up an already exciting game. I don’t know how I feel about it yet, other than a little nervous – but Cassel should be upping his confidence points with these past two wins. As always it’s all about bothering Manning.

Good game Pats!

"the Manning face"

Dang!

I’m looking forward to a few of these next week.
