MNF Open Thread: Colts @ Titans

Colts-vs-titans_medium

I'm opening this thread up a little early so we can start discussing Colts @ Titans in one place.  The 3-3 Colts are out to prove they're better than their record indicates by toppling the only undefeated team in the NFL, the 6-0 Titans.  A number of key Colts starters (RB Joseph Addai and S Bob Sanders, to name but a few) our out for tonight, but that shouldn't prevent some dang good football.

This game will be good recon for our upcoming matchup at The Lube.  It'll also be a hoot to see two AFC South division rivals duke it out.  As always, click on over to StampedeBlue for all things Colts and Music City Miracles for Titans info.

I'm a fan of Jeff Fisher

yeah, he doesn't bother me

The only problem I ever had with the Titans, and I guess it’s really with Titans receiver Bobby Wade, was the dirty hit on Rodney Harrison during the last game of the season in 2006 that injured his knee and knocked him out of the playoffs.

“That’s a very classless group of guys, starting with Kevin Mawae, who is definitely one of the dirtiest players I’ve ever dealt with. I remember when he took Richard Seymour out,” Harrison said. “He intentionally tries to hurt people. A guy with that much talent, it’s terrible that he has to do things like that, and it rubs off on other guys. ”http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/articles/2007/01/26/hard_hitting_encouragement/" >It’s disappointing because I don’t think [coach Jeff] Fisher encourages that. I’ve played Tennessee before and it wasn’t like that."

I know that was a couple of years ago and it’s a different team now, but I’m going to be rooting for them anyway.

Keep the faith!
