No suspension for Wilfork - Mike Reiss
Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell yesterday in New York, will not be suspended.
The website profootballtalk.com first reported the news this morning. That news has been confirmed.
Wilfork's meeting with Goodell concerned rules-breaking play, as Wilfork had been fined four times last season. Most recently, the NFL Network reported that Broncos coaches sent film to the NFL from the Oct. 20 Patriots-Broncos game showing Wilfork elbowing quarterback Jay Cutler after a play.

There will be a fine, but it won't be officially announced until Friday
The Associated Press reported the following:
Wilfork was summoned before Goodell after the Broncos claimed tape of New England’s 41-7 win Oct. 20 showed Wilfork elbowing Cutler in the helmet.
However, the tapes that were reviewed during the hearing did not show that clearly, upholding the Patriots’ contention there was no intent to injure. They also showed Wilfork helping up Cutler and patting him on the back after the play.
Keep the faith!

Good. We need that wide load in the middle...
…he’s having a very solid year so far.
As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead
