Speaking of Terrence Wheatley...
WHEATLEY POPS IN: Former Buffs cornerback Terrence Wheatley stopped by the Dal Ward Center on Tuesday and chatted with the local media about his rookie season with the New England Patriots.
Wheatley underwent surgery Friday in Vail to repair ligaments in his left wrist.
Wheatley started at cornerback against Indianapolis two weeks ago and said the Patriots were hoping he’d be a starter for the remainder of the season. Wheatley said he’ll back to full speed in about three months.
watching him hold his arm like Junior Seau
I figured it was a break, but was hoping for 6 weeks healing and then back for the playoffs. Man!
Keep the faith!
we cannot catch a break
Not trying to use a pun, but no other phrase that fits right now. I have never followed other teams’ injury reports as closely, but I can’t imagine anyone having signficantly worse luck than we’ve had on the player health front for the past few years.
That's what was so funny about last week's game vs. the Bills
Granted the Bills were missing some players too, but not the equivalent of Tom Brady and Rodney Harrison and the media kept harping on who the Bills were going to be without. It’s bordering on silly now.
Keep the faith!
