PostGame Thread: Steelers defeat Patriots, 33-10

Ugly, ugly football by our team.  I'm working on my recap right now, but here's your postgame thread.

Congrats to the Steelers

They capitalized on the Patriots’ mistakes (and forced some as well). I will find comfort in the fact that the Jets are about to lose to the Broncos (34-17 with two minutes to go).

up 'till half time it was a game

but we couldn’t catch the ball plain and simple. And of course, we couldn’t stop Pittsburgh from scoring (which wasn’t a surprise because we really haven’t stopped anyone from scoring.)

Keep the faith!

It helps if you have 11 capable players.

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

You are still the class of the decade

And this season is far from over. You need to get some health back and, of course, you won’t drop passes like today. New England fans and the fans of this site are generally humble and classy. Good luck the rest of the way.

Thoughtful discussion with a sense of history

Thanks maryrose

The Steelers are always a yardstick for me. They have such a solid defense that a win is always hard fought and seems to mean more. And I appreciate the comment about us fans. Nice to say.

yeah, your Steelers keep improving

Appreciate your not coming over just to rub it in too. The back and forth with BTSC this past week was pretty cool. As shake n bake posted, the Pats are not out of it, but this just makes it a bit more… shall we say, interesting.

Keep the faith!
