Quarterback Matt Cassel, who returned home yesterday after his father, Greg Cassel, passed away Monday night, is back with the Patriots this afternoon.
He was seen getting off the team bus this morning at San Jose State, where the Patriots are preparing for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Practice is scheduled to begin at approximately 12:40 PST.
The media availability period with players has just started. It's unlikely that Cassel will be available, but we should have more updates later.
