Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

The Quest for the Holy Grail

It failed like it does 99.9% of the time. But I will never forget this season in my life time. The Patriots are the most noble team in football in spite of what our jealous rivals say. They gave us one hell of a season. I give the Giants all the credit in the world, they earned that win. I'll always appreciate championship caliber play. But I'll still always believe that we had the best team this year. And I wouldn't trade this team for any other. Maybe we haven't quite established the camelot of the football world, and our quest still continues. But I believe we have come closer than anyone else and have a better chance at it than any other team.

As much as I love B.B....
I think the approach to this game was a huge mistake. For 18 weeks it was one game at a time, then it became embrace the history you could make. I really thought (which i never do) that this was going to be a blowout. I took the looseness that the club seemed to have on the fact that Bill found something, something on film he was going to exploit. I was wrong it was the "we are going to embrace history theme" I think it was the wrong approach in that they just added so much pressure to themselves. They were tight all game and even when they scored at the end of the 4th quarter the defense still came out tight. Add to that that apparently the football gods must want to listen to the dumbass dolphins for 20 more years. ELi Manning  "mvp" are you kidding me didn't he do what Farve gets killed for all the time, throw it up across the middle late. Call it sour grapes but that is far from what I would call a good play. I wish they would have just kept the 1 game at a time theme for 1 more week.Just the ramblings of someone who is still sitting here on monday dumbfounded.Maybe tomorrow I will start to try to figure wo we are going to draft.
Andre Tippet should be a Hall of Famer
