the draft

Star-divide

siked, siked, siked, finally we picked a position that is needed desperatly!  Actually, the pat's have always picked well, it's just that this position as we all know was needed awhile ago.  I saw some tape on mayo after the pick and this guy is the real deal.  He has unbelievable ability to chase down oppenents and most of all FINISH.  With our current linebackers, and the addition of Hobson and Mayo, I can honestly say we are pretty much all set in the linebacker position.  A great acquisition, now if we can sure up our corners we will be back at full force.  Oh man, suit up now, I can't wait to see Hobson against his old team, killing the QB, and Mayo young and fresh working with Vrabel and Brushci and dominating  the field with those guys.  YES, YES, YES!

Let's go...

I’m with ya. Let’s get this started. The one thing that gives me pause is the O line. I don’t want to jump on the bandwagon of detractors who base their opinion solely on the SB, but it wouldn’t hurt to have some youngins there.

youngins

I hear ya, Mapatsfan, I don’t want to scrutinize the draft to much and doubt bb and peoli but i wish we got some young oline guys also in the 2nd round at least one stud. Oh well I’ll trust bb and peoli with that situation after all i think they know just a little more than me. ha lol….

Second Round

The Patriots have selected CB Terrence Wheatley with the 62nd pick of the draft… looks like the Pats are going defense, as most of us expected.

By the way, I’m very excited to see what Mayo can do in a Pats uniform. Good draft so far!
