rams tape

ok, according to my close and personal source from NEPW, there is in fact another tape out there of a rams walk thru.  Now, before we get into this I must tell you that John Thomase and my family source know each other very well.  John does stand by his source in the Feb. 3rd article in the Herald.  He also states that the source and the tape that started this whole fiasco was indeed about a walk thru.  He never said that Matt Walsh was the bearer of this news or tape.  There is another person or source out there with the real scoop and, or tape.  Now, whether or not this source comes out,  or this tape comes out, or actually exists is a whole other situation.  Which brings us back to the same situation as the Matt Walsh events.  In the end to sum this all up, it is up to Thomase to reveal this source, in return the source bring out the tape, which we all know will NEVER happen.  If not, there should be another Herald article by John explaining all of this, either way it puts him in a very awkward situation to prove and protect his credibility.  As far as the Arnold Specter and Matt Walsh meeting later this week, nothing new should come about because everything is out in the open now and unless Specter can bring about new information or prove something different, nothing will happen.  The only thing that can hurt the Pat's organization now is, the original source, and the original tape that started this whole thing actually come out to the public.  I was told chances are unlikely that this will happen.  Then, finally, hopefully, this will be in the past.

Until someone coughs up an actual tape...

...it doesn’t exist. Period. I don’t know if you even are aware of this, but you’re doing the very same thing Mr. Tomase did. Your unnamed source has informed you that there is a tape of the Rams walkthrough. No different than what was printed in the Herald. This whole thing will never be put to rest as long as unsubstantiated rumors, speculation, and conspiracy theories abound.

Keep the faith!

read it again

marima, your not understanding what your reading. I am telling you that Thomase said, from his source that there is a tape out there. Not my words, HIS. Whether or not the source comes out or not will be seen. I also said not likely, I am not doing the very same thing, I am telling you what they said, not me. Read the post again, carefully and word for word and you will see that we are on the same page.

Sorry, but there isn’t any other way to read this.

yes

that’s right, I am not doing the very same thing Thomase did, I am telling you what Thomase said and did, whatever, it’s all good. This subject is tired anyhow. I like you know my team is the best with or without any video.

I have to agree

If this tape even exists, which I doubt… no offense, I doubt it was sanctioned by anyone in the pats organization. The organization has come out and flatly denied ever seeing a tape, let alone authorizing it to be done. BB taped signals DURING a game, this would be another level of rule-breaking that I doubt he would have allowed. Even if a tape of the Rams walkthough were to surface, someone would have to prove it was linked to the Pats. I don’t mean that in a lawyerish way, but who is to say it wasn’t a Rams tape of their own walkthrough?

I still contend that BB thought he was smarter then the people at the NFL and thought he found a loop-hole in the rules and wanted to exploit it. If he had really thought it was totally illegal and would have lead to what actually happened I don’t think he would have condoned it.

ogor

can you tell me what position hobson played on the jets, inside or out? I also would like your opinion where you think bb will put him and how much?

thanks,

Hobson...

He was mainly an outside linebacker in the Jets system. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/ is a good link to a Q&A he did today actually.

I think a lot of where/how he is used will depend on the rookies, Junior Seau and the health of some of our returning OLB Veterans and part-timers. My guess is the roster this year will be loaded with LBs, Last year the Pats had 5 ILB and 3 OLB on the final roster. Here is how I project the various bits and pieces:

ILB
Starters: Bruschi, Seau
Rotation: Hobson, Mayo, Alexander

OLB
Starters: Vrabel, Thomas
Rotation: Crable, Woods, Hobson

Special Teams
Izzo, Woods, Alexander, Crable

For those counting at home, that is 10 LBs. Guyton and Rudd make the Practice squad, if they aren’t taken by someone else. If for some reason Seau does not return, my guess is they stick with 10 LB and take Guyton. I think the pats will go into this season with 1 less safety and 1 less WR or CB then last year.

yeah....

I have toyed with doing a “mock roster” where we try to pick the 53 man roster at the end, but I think it will be tough this year. It might be something fun to do while we twiddle our thumbs waiting for the preseason

Me and a few others

have already done ones for the Colts. But it’s probably a lot easier when the team your doing it for, only lost one starter, plays it’s base D a huge % of the time and almost never cuts a draft pick.
I really liked doing it.

im with ya

i honestly do not believe that there is one also, bottom line if there was it would have come out by now. I am just saying that Thomase reports there is one from his source. Now if he stands by that he cant and wont divulge his source, if there is not one then his credibility source and him are shot and he owes an apology in another article. What these guys have said to me is really nothing new and is simple. Either way I think the source is bogus or we would have seen something by now.
