Colt's Harrison questioned in shooting
Almost assuredly they are completely unrelated and he was just interviewed because he owned near-by establishments. The first thing that came to my mind is, if this were a Pat's player, ESPN and every other team fan would be roasting him over the fire right now. Anyway, again its probably not related in any way, but I thought it was interesting to post and see how many colts fans find their way over here to post.

I hope that this is just misinformation that has been reported before the whole story,
because even though he plays for a rival, he has always been pretty well squeaky clean on and off the field. If it turns out that he is involved, I wish him the best in getting the situation resolved. You never know about a person or how they will react until they are put into that particular event. From what I have seen over the years, he is a far cry from the other players who push misbehavior to the limit in the NFL.

What the hell? Did you even read the article Ogor? No where in that report, or ANY other report made public is there mention of a homicide.

kingrichard
Harrison is a class man, in my opinion I highly doubt that he has any involvement in this situation directly.

HAHAHA
Thanks for proving my point KR! Did you even read what I posted? Yes I read the whole thing, and yes I said he was just being interviewed because he owned the place.

I sure did Ogor. I believe you said these two gems:
Almost assuredly they are completely unrelated and he was just interviewed because he owned near-by establishments.
Anyway, again its probably not related in any way, but I thought it was interesting to post…
What you did in a nutshell is completely fabricate some news that hasn’t been reported by anyone, and left some room for doubt by using the words almost assuredly, and probably not.
Might be some funny joke for you, seeing as though it’s always about the Patriots. Boo hoo if this was the Patriots then (blank), the Patriots never get respect, blah blah friggin blah.

I read what you posted, including your link about a "homicide investigation"
But there is no homicide investigation because by definition, a homicide investigation requires that someone is dead. Much as I hate to agree with a Colts fan, I think KingRichard is right.
In any case, I have a hard time believing at this point that Harrison had anything to do with this incident. It’s not like he’s Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, or some other player who gets arrested as frequently as most people inhale.

really
what’s up with that, I don’t get it usually Ogor know his stuff, must be a mistake unless he hates the colts that much. lol…...

sorry ogor, hey king richard in ogor’s defense even though he does’nt need it, he does not say there was a homicide he just is questioning if there is or was one, not that ther IS one.

Hey may not think they are connected, but you don’t post that shit on a popular blog like this just to get more people to check out your retarded post/

hang him, ha ha
not only that, i believe the article states the bullet did in fact, come from his owned gun, you have a lot of splaning to do lucy…....

5 or 6 from Marvin's gun
and at least one bullet from someone else’s.
Although there seems to be a lot of details being reported incorrectly. The stuff out Friday doesn’t really agree with what’s come out over the weekend.
So as easy as it is to speculate, we’re just going to have to wait and see.

another news source
the article ogor posted did not mention the bullet and gun, there was a more recent news report this morning about those items and a relation between the gun, bullets in the shooting and the gun being Harrisons. That is what I was commenting on that recent news report. Also the report stated that the police commissioner has not confirmed that and at this time it is being looked into. It is possible that a relative acquired Marvin’s gun and did the shooting himself without Marvin’s knowledge. Again, all heresay at this time.

My mistake
My mistake on the homicide part, I thought it was, but reading more information it was just a shooting. Title edited to reflect that fact.

Update
Wow.. this is getting interesting now. Here is the latest update on ESPN.com. For the record I like the guy, and feel cheated when we play the Colts and he is not on the field. I like games where the best of both teams is on display and doing their J.O.B.

huh
First I remember hearing about this.
Off the field, Harrison was sued after the 2005 Pro Bowl when three boys accused him of attacking them when they tried to get his autograph. The suit alleged Harrison “violently and physically attacked” the minors, including placing a “potentially deadly choke hold” on one of the boys, but it was later dismissed. However, I doubt he’d be dumb enough to do something like this. (Then again, I said the same thing for Vick). If it was his gun it was probably stolen though, and I’ll assume so until I hear otherwise.
(PS: Dudes, chill out about the erroneous link title. Isn’t there an age limit or something?)

That suit was dismissed because there wasn't any evidence
Very likely just a few unscrupulous people trying to reach into a NFL players deep pockets.

Well
The whole thing about the fan’s lawsuit was kind of BS. The only reason I posted this, was the article was talking about the gun casings, and the fact that the gun was found in a soap bucket in the car wash were Harrison was at the time, and not at home like he thought it was.
by Ogor on May 6, 2008 7:59 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
And if you were to actually read the updates, you’d know that Harrison’s gun wasn’t found in a soap bucket. In reality, he turned the weapon into the police upon request.

Where exactly did this piece of information come from? I was citing the linked reference. If you are going to throw out some statement, at least present evidence to back it up.
by Ogor on May 7, 2008 9:31 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
and i quote
“Harrison’s representatives say Harrison was not present during the shooting incident, and that his gun was not involved.”
by skywalker on May 7, 2008 1:16 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
and I qoute too
“Based on reports from multiple media outlets, a gun owned by Harrison was involved in a shooting April 29, and the gun made its way back to Harrison’s hands the next day. Unless Harrison can come up with a compelling explanation that authorities deem to be persuasive and, more important, true, he could face real problems—with the court system and with the NFL.
Under Pennsylvania law, if Harrison is deemed the shooter, he could be convicted of aggravated assault. Even if none of the bullets had hit anyone, the mere act of firing a gun at another person constitutes aggravated assault in Pennsylvania, exposing the shooter to up to 10 years in prison.
If and when there is a prosecution, could the government prove Harrison’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt? The reluctance of the victim to identify the shooter would make the case more difficult to prosecute. That said, the chain of circumstantial evidence - Harrison has gun, gun fires at someone, Harrison still has gun the next day - is powerful. “Even if Harrison didn’t pull the trigger, the fact it’s his gun exposes him to potential criminal liability for lending or giving a firearm to another person. Under Pennsylvania law, that’s a misdemeanor and carries a potential sentence of up to one year.”
