City of Champions

Congratulations to the Boston Celtics -- the greatest one-season turnaround in NBA history and the 17th NBA championship in franchise history -- and to all the Boston-area teams and their fans for the greatest year in U.S. professional sports history.

Enjoy it, fans!

We are so fortunate to have teams like the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins, Revolution, and all the great college teams in our area. Once again, Boston is the Hub of the Universe!

Congratulations, Celtics!

I was pulling for you to win for many reasons, like watching the Lakers lose and seeing Garnett, Pierce and Allen get their championship. It was nice to see Doc Rivers experience this after what he endured last year. A great night!

What a game!!

Allen was dropping 3 pointers at will and Rondo was forcing turnovers all night. Did you see that shot by Garnett in the paint where he seemingly hung in the air forever? Unbelieveable. We are lucky.

Woooo-Hoooo!!!

Well worth the many missed moments of sleep during the playoffs, and every groggy, grumpy morning afterwards—except for THIS morning, of course. This CHAMPIONSHIP morning!

No question that the better team won. Gotta love those Celts! Congratulations!

Keep the faith!

BOO --F'N --YAHHHHH!!!!

What a way to win—everyone played, highlight reels for months to come and another CHAMPIONSHIP for Boston sports!!!! What a night…...

How bout Big Baby taking the ball from center court, driving the lane, and dunking to finish in the last couple of minutes - looked so uncomfortable, yet like a graceful rhino at the same time…..

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is 'God is crying.' And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is 'Probably because of something you did.'
