Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

Roster moves to hit 75 players:

G Stephen Neal was placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list due to his shoulder, meaning he is out for at least the first six weeks of the season.

OT Ryan O'Callaghan was placed on season-ending injured reserve due to his shoulder.

CB Jason Webster, RB Kyle Eckel and OL Ryan Wendell were released.

Belichick alluded to this

on WEEI’s “Big Show”, when asked about roster cuts. He made some comment about how injuries would make some decisions for them. I’m not surprised about Webster, Eckel or Wendell.

Keep the faith!

Yeah,

no huge surprises. Although losing Neal for at least 6 weeks and O’C for the season is a big blow.

However, Oliver Ross was not cut and they didn’t put him on the PUP (he is on the “offseason” PUP) Maybe he can come back sometime soon
