Deltha O'Neal
You signed him. I don't know which Deltha you're going to get. 10 pick Deltha or the bad one. He has fallen off since 2005.
You had two rookies in your top 4 CBs if i'm not mistaken. This should give you some veteran depth. I don't know much about your defensive backs or who is going to start and if Deltha even comes into the mix of starting.
Give me some info here guys. I like to have as much info as possible on rivals.
Peyton's not worrying tho ;)

heh
Well, we tend to be good at recuperating fallen Bengals a la Corey DIllon.
Clearly we need some depth at this position, and Bill probably found Bryant lacking and figured O’Neal couldn’t be any worse… We already had Hobbs, Wheatley, and Wilhite, and the veteran Sanders, and two more youngish players on the practice squad.
It’s reportedly a 1 year deal, and O’Neal is buddy buddy with Rodney Harrison, which probably had something to do with it.

Good analysis
I was surprised at Bryant being cut, but he didn’t do himself any favors during the Giants preseason game. We got VERY young at corner this year and need some vets to balance out the crew. Hobbs was the only CB with experience in the Patriots system, so hopefully Deltha can pick up the D quickly.
Good post, skywalker.

And another thing...
This is classic Belichick/Patriots system. Keeping an eye on opposing players for down the road. They did the same thing with Welker (he was brutal for the Patriots to defend against).

Ty Law may be coming back. Surely Peyton Manning remembers Ty Law. ;)

Didn't Law used to be one of Peyton's receivers?
Keep the faith!

Yes indeed,
In fact, in the 2004 playoff game between New England and Indianapolis, I do believe that Ty Law was Peyton’s leading receiver. He pulled down 3 receptions for over 100 yards and a touchdown and fans were hailing the performance as stellar and just what they’d come to expect from the ESPN-proclaimed “league’s best quarterback, receiver tandem”.

I do believe
Ty Law is no longer the leading receiver. He has been jumped by Antonio Cromartie.
Also, how did the Jets acquire Brady for the Superbowl last year?? Nvm, I remember why his Jersey was green.
I can play too ;)

Touchee good sir.
Can’t argue that one. Our offensive line played like it had been drinking before the game.

oh, and skywalker,
I’m not trying to be a jerk, just a little tongue in cheek. Can’t wait for our game this year although I do wish that we got to play you guys in our house for once.

For once?
It has been a while since the Colts been over there, but besides last year, the Colts played there during the 2004, 2005, 2006 regular seasons.

Come on Pats, the only time Deltha has ever looked good was when he was picking Tom Brady when he was a Bronco
And then Brady got his revenge the following time by making O’Neal expendable by the Broncos.
