Be real fans
So I'm reading Gallo's article on Page 2 and what do I see?
3. Shameful showing by thousands of Patriots fans Sunday. Leaving at the start of the fourth quarter?
Good lord people, shameful indeed. You call yourselves Pats fans? Bostonians? We do not flee our own stadium. If the score is infinity to zero, you watch. When your team is having it's 21 game winning streak broken, you do not boo, you applaud politely for what they have done for us over that span. Have we become so spoiled we can't even act like men when the Ronnie Brown Express catches us by surprise? I only expect such sick behavior from Yankees/Jets fans. If you are going to leave early please just forward your tickets to me and I will distribute them to worthy fans.
Watch the whole game, and support the team no matter what. Patriots law.

One of the possible reasons.
A lot of the old diehard never say die fans are getting price out, and the fan base at the stadium are more upper class less committed.
The road to success is always under construction.
This is the sad truth
$40 to park, $8 beers and season tickets going up every year. A good buddy of mine has been a season ticket holder for a long time and finally had to give them up due to cost. Sucks.

I have season tickets and
I sold the year to someone i work with because I don’t know if I can afford to continue going, it’s getting crazy.
I think it’s definately band wagon people head for the exits early.
It made me sick to read it
The players, especially Hobbs who noted it publicly, had to have been miffed. What, the fans will only stay – or not boo – if the Patriots win??? Tough crowd. Literally. We watched till the end at home, but we’re not the representatives of the fans that the players see.
And it’s too bad about the cost to attend. I’ve never been to a game, although it must be an exciting venue. We have 4 kids who love the Patriots but it would just be too expensive for tickets for all of us (let alone parking, food, drinks, etc…) so we’ve made a party out of the games at home.
Keep the faith!
What if the Red Sox lose the A.L. East crown to the RAYS and are no match
to beat the LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM, the team with baseball’s best record? Then Boston fans will have more depression, more anger and rage. Don’t worry, Patriot fans. You still have the Bruins opening up on October 9, and the Celtics starting their NBA championship title defense October 28 against the Cavaliers at the Garden. If the Pats falter, and the Red Sox get eliminated by Tampa/Chicago/L.A. Angels, you still have Boston College, a new Bruins season and of course, the C’s ready to defend the NBA title.
But one thing… this prediction for November 30 vs. Pittsburgh at Gillette Stadium:
Patriots 45, Steelers 0. Matt Cassell will look like a Heisman winner (like Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart) as he has his best game of his life. Bet on it.
My name is Finlay, and I love to fight!
Look at the bright side...
Maybe if the Pats start losing a few, that’ll weed out the fair weather fans that’ve plagued you guys since Brady joined the team. We had our share of those in Green Bay during our Super Bowl heyday (a whole 2 years). Ironically, the bandwagon idiots are always the ones who are the loudest/most obnoxious on the blogs when “their” team wins. Good riddance, says I.
As an aside I wouldn’t wish for anyone to play as “well” at Matt Leinart. You want the Pats to win, don’t you? :)

Pricing..?
I read somewhere that you guys have the most expensive tickets in the NFL, around ninety bucks a ticket? Or is it more, now? Also, is it true that there are mall type stores in the stadium? I’m sure a Victoria’s Secret or a Gap isn’t exactly going to keep costs down. Sounds like someone upstairs had some pet projects to take care of, and now you guys get to absorb the cost. That does suck. And I’m sure if the Pats stink this year, or next year (probably not, but maybe), you KNOW ticket prices won’t go down…

For the Miami game...
…I sat in section 340, essentially the nose bleeds, and the face value was $65. Here’s a seating chart with the pricing as well. Yes, there is a “mall” of sorts with a Hollister, a Victoria’s Secret, and a few other stores. On the jumbotron, they were advertising movie times for the theater in the complex. Foot traffic to the stadium led right past the stores.

I was disgusted with everyone leaving at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Being an out of state patritos fan it really sickens me that people would leave(they really played up eveyone leaving on the tv broadcast). I would do anything to be able to attend a game in Foxborough and these peole are leaving because that pats have an off game. sickening!
The pats cannot go undefeated every season and with Tom out there are bound to be some growing pains.
GO PATS!
