Around SBN: Steve McNair Dead - Former NFL QB Shot and Killed

Sources have indicated to WEEI's John Dennis that the quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, has a cracked bone in his foot. According to Dennis' report, Brady is still on target to play on Sunday. -- Rob Bradford (Sept. 3, 10:31am)

That is

an interesting report. That “Circle of Four” is like it’s from a spy story. But Foxboro is the only place where I can imagine it :D
As for the injury, they’re right that the absence of a veteran signal caller means it’s not worrysome. But they’re still right saying that opposing defenders (especially linemen) can target it, falling on Tom’s foot “accidentaly”…
Anyway, the OLine has to protect him more than ever, and I expect a heavy dose of running game for the next few weeks

Keep in mind...

The report is not coming from an identifiable or verifiable source.

Keep the faith!

Who needs feet

Make Heath Evans his personal bodyguard, and have him stand there and fire away Marino style ;-)

Well. That explains alot.

If true, of course. Under the circumstances, I don’t think I’d object to seeing MattyC for the Chiefs game. It’s not one we need, and they’re not so hot. He could probably pull it off.

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead
