Tom Brady "Cheap Shot."

Star-divide

I don't really see this hit on Tom Brady as a cheap shot.  I mean, look at it if Tom wasn't iffy with the knee.  People would just say it was a lucky arm to trip him up.  I mean, it was obvious that he was going down and he was just going with a last-ditch effort to get the sack, and that leg just happened to be closest.  I don't think this should be a big scandal challenging the "dirty" play of Bernard Pollard.  I think we should focus on Tom playing next week.  However according to Countdown to Kickoff on NBC, the injury is season-threatening. UH OH.

Where's your faith???

(and don’t say it’s in a bed, resting with Tom Brady) I am just SICK over this. Stomach-turning, pulse-racing, bile-tasting sick. BUT…

The Patriots will survive. They will continue to win games. The defense will step up big time just like they did when Bledsoe went down and the newbie QB Brady come in, because that’s the type of character we have on this team. Vrabel is going to have a monster year, as is everyone on that defense. The offensive line will hold. Cassel will be coddled ‘till he feels comfortable in his role and he’ll have the team behind him 100%.

A revolting development to say the least, but it’s not the death knell.

Keep the faith!

I hate to see Brady out

for any length of time, but you have to find the silver lining(if it exists). This will give Coach Bill a chance to show that he is one of, if not the greatest, of all time. Every year, the media hypes Tom as the only reason the Pats compete for the AFC championship. Well, now this year will be about how good the team is and can play together, and Belichick is the key to this. I was extremely harsh on Cassel in the preseason, but after today’s game, I have to rethink things. He didn’t try to win the game with one play, he managed the offense, and he took what the defense gave him, which has been the heart and soul of Patriot football this decade. I am sick if Brady is gone for the year, but maybe things really won’t be that bad. No, we won’t challenge the scoring record of last year, but it’s really all about winning the games. And I believe that we will still contend by season’s end.
