To top off my horrible football day, I picked the Colts in my Survivor football league because I wanted to use the strategy of picking all the “sure thing” bets early, and gambling on close games later in the season against fewer opponents.

Shit. My original gut picks were the Steelers, or Philly. Argh.

Brady was my first pick for the company fantasy football league, so I get double mocking from my co-workers.

Some facts:

With a stellar receiving core the Pats will still probably win the division.
As long as Brady doesn’t have a completely torn ACL he could be back in time for the playoffs.
When the going gets tough, the Patriots win the Super Bowl.
