Open Game Thread: Saturday Games
The Titans, fresh from a first round bye, take on the Baltimore Ravens at 4:30 today on CBS. At 8:15 on FOX, we have the Cardinals and Panthers. The Ravens looked super hot against Miami, but Tennessee has had a storied year. Arizona could have a tough go of it against a very hot Panthers.

They trash talk the Pats like noone else. I say go Titans.

Absolutely
There’s no way I can root for Baltimore, unless they were playing a team I hated even more.
Keep the faith!
Just checking in to say
that I can’t f-ing stand dierdork, even when he’s calling some else’s game. Talk about a turd in the punchbowl. This is the guy at the party with nothing clever or useful to say, yet who insists on saying it loudly and urgently, forcing you to listen, even though you’d rather be sticking forks in your eyes and pouring salt on the wounds.
What an ass.

And yes, Ravens.
They’re led by a criminal, but the Titans have more annoying personalities.

he's fast
…but there’ll be another Chris Johnson next year. Easiest position to replenish.

Dierdorf is comedy gold
“was it firmer? Was it harder? Was Mawae’s a little softer? Was Collins a little befuddled by it?”
That’s just priceless. Anyone who wants to make a case for the latent homosexuality of spending the weekend watching men in tight pants bend over and wrestle with each other has a friend in Dan Dierdorf.
Never mind the fact that this is the 18th week of the season, and Kevin Mawae hasn’t snapped to Collins in over a year, so the point of the comment is dumb in itself.

oops
I was factually wrong about Mawae. But the comment is still homoerotic — and I stand by Dierdorf’s wrongness.

From the CBS group I like Gus Johnson
He can become quite enthusiastic during games without favoring either team.
I'm waiting for a stupid mistake on either side
to see if he calls someone a “dum-dum” again.
Keep the faith!
Unbelievable catch

Tennessee with almost twice as many yards as Baltimore, and also a 21-9 first down advanzage. But the 3 turnovers were very costly.

Looking forward to watching Carolina. I like their style. In spite of their surprising spunk last week, I don’t think the Cards have what it takes against these guys.
In other news, yeah the refs missed a call. Wah. Cry me a river, you ball-dropping, interception-throwing masters of the personal foul. Life’s tough.

Who are these guys?
I don’t think they’ve been these guys all year. OTOH, Delhomme is chucking INT’s like it’s his job.

Yeah
This is a day of surprises and meltdowns. Just like the season – wonky.

I think playoff Bye weeks have just as much potential to be a curse as a blessing.
May the wind be always at your back, and may your placekicker have icewater in his veins.
