610 Sports is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have offered Scott Pioli the job of general manager. Sources to 610 Sports say the two sticking points include money and control over football operations, specifically the coaching staff.

May his pride work to our advantage here, as they snub him.
Guys forget they are part of a team, so part of Pioli’s success is due to the people he worked with. He may or may not be able to replicate it. He and Bill B. make a great team. He should accept that lest he end up like all the others who played Icarus and crashed to the ground (Romeo, Charlie….).
