The Patriots announced today that quarterback Tom Brady has been named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL for his record-breaking performance in the Patriots’ 59-0 victory over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday. It is the second time in 2009 (Week 1 against Buffalo) and 14th in his career that Brady has earned the award.

I think they only go for positive yardage. Absolute value of negative yardage doesn't count.

I think they’re just elitist snobs. Whether you excel at being good or at being bad should be irrelevant. Excellence is still excellence. This ad has been paid for by the Ryan Leaf for Hall of Fame committee.

The more you know, the more you know that you don't know.

What about Peyton Manning?

I bet he excelled at his bye week, and for all we know he might have been the best offensive bye-week participant ever. The NFL really needs to keep more detailed stats.

Keep the faith!

I wonder.... when he made a pass at his wife,

did he do all of that pointing, shouting, and stomping his foot?

0 pass attempts, 0 yards, 0 tds, 0 interceptions

That’s a better passing display than either of the Tennessee QBs. Peyton Manning should be proud.

Kerry Collins and Vince Young are amazed

Peyton put up better numbers than them during the buy week. LOL

My life has been a trivial pursuit. Trivia: where three roads meet.
