Maybe the 3rd receiver has been on the roster all along?
Heard a ton of sports radio talk about the Pats lack of a 3rd receiver the last two weeks, even before Edelman was hurt. Cleary Joey Graybeard wasn't the answer. Aiken appears to be a ham and egger. I think it is curious that THE GENIUS would cut Galloway, knowing Edelman was out of commission.
I know he is coming off ACL/MCL. I know the "true" recovery isn't until the second year for speedsters with those types of injuries. I know he is a pothead, Focker. I know these are just college highlights.
But JC, maybe THE GENIUS knew the third receiver has been on the roster all along. Tell me this doesn't make you excited watching this montage.

It probably deserved its own thread anyway.
No worries. Plus it’s an excuse to mock Joey Greybeard now he’s an ex-Pat.

Yeah, but yours has the nifty video attached
Don’t worry about it. Tate has been on PUP and can use the extra plug. He sounded so excited to have the opportunity to finally play that I can’t help but root hard for the rookie to get his chance.
Keep the faith!

Somehow
The track record for the Pats to ‘find’ players in every round. Would be great if Tate could contribute in anyway this year.

He ought to have as good a chance as anyone
as he was initially projected as a first-round pick, before his injury. Assuming he’s fit (and that is a big assumption, it was a serious injury after all) he’s actually coming into the league at the same time as first-round pick Michael Crabtree. A whole two receptions (just 2, hah!) would put him on the same production as first-round pick Darrius Heyward-Bey.

this is a BIG stretch
but when i herd we drafted tate, i looked up some highlights of his in college, and the way he was catching the football in traffic, his route running, hands and the ability to get open, reminded me of marvin harrison or reggie wayne.

Not as big as you'd imagine
he was projected as a first-rounder, pre-injury.
