MPF is back

First, an apology for not contributing and writing as much as you folks deserve.  Family issues have taken priority and, to be honest, sapped the creative writing vein that I depend on; I would be less of a son had I not walked away for a bit, however.  Many times, I sat down to write, but couldn't muster the brain power to "carry the water" as JohnHannahRules so aptly states.

I'm back and will be ready to blog the daylights out of our upcoming matchup against Miami.  The Phinsider crowd are always entertaining, to say the least, and this purports to be a great divisional matchup.

Good job on taking care of those disrespectful Jets.

It ought to be a great game this weekend. I’m looking forward to it.

lol you should have just said "squish the fish"

and you’d be a-typical. I enjoy being respectful with you guys, it is welcoming over here and I can have real football conversations which you could never find over at GGN. I’ll say hats off to Buffalo Rumblings too, you guys and them are great people to talk football with.

GGN has gone out of their way to make me feel unwelcome

I can get along pretty much anywhere else. The ‘skins fans were a little touchy when I mentioned bad drafting. Kind of like when your sister’s really ugly, and you know it, but you don’t want anyone else to talk about it. I should have been more considerate. Won’t even go to GGN. My record there sits at 1 comment and there it will remain.

LOL

I just got banned from there yesterday for pointing out that their lead blogger will immediately ban anyone who says something that’s not 100% pro Jets. But the Jets fans can call us homophobic slurs and all kinds of nasty names and send threatening emails to our bloggers, but nothing ever happens to them.

I'd probably have to post a second time to get banned.

Not going to happen, still regretting the first time.

MattyI got one and another blogger got one. One of them really just crossed the line, talked about beating the guys kids and raping his wife. Very very sick stuff.

You can read the one Matty got on the Phinsider.

Really looking forward to this game you guys.

I’m eager to see if we can continue our win streak in the division, and I’m also curious to see if JT can still be the bane of Tom Brady’s existence. These games are some of the best played ones that I’ve seen.

Good luck on Sunday and hope to have an injury free game!

Ha!

Crazy is my way of life man.

I like watching these games because I know that both teams really toughen it up for them. And to me, that makes for some good football.

And maybe if I’m lucky, it will be televised here since the Rams are on bye week.

Only 1 of my 2 CBS stations has the listing so far

The other says TBA.

Usually I can’t find out ‘til Wednesday. Sometimes they don’t tell me ‘til Friday. When it’s there on a Monday, though, it’s a done deal.

I’m rooting for you to see the game. Fans should get to see their teams. It’s the natural order of things.

My poor Panthers fan son has been a real trooper this year.

He got to see one preseason game so far. Yesterday, there was a few second after the Vikings game they switched over to his game. I feel bad complaining when he gets to see so few. At least I know he’s die hard about the team.

This weekend, FOX could show either of these two games:
Detroit @ Seattle
Carolina @ New Orleans

They chose to show neither. Poor kid, I thought this might be his week for sure. Well, they still play the Pats, maybe we both get lucky and can watch together.

I know his pain.

I hardly ever get to see Phins games, since they always show the Rams games here in the Lou. Usually the other ones are either NFC East teams, the Pats, or the Steelers. God I need to get NFL sunday Ticket.

Yeah, I'm up in Vikingsland

I get to see the Vikes (oldest son’s team) every weekend (including Favre’s face through the bye week), and usually NFC North games. The Pats are on quite a bit, and my wife’s Steelers. My youngest son is an Eagles fan, and he has gotten lucky the last few weeks including this Sunday night on NBC.
I can’t justify spending any more money on TV though. I’ve got a couple African villages to support.
