Sunday early games Open Thread
Hey gang, here's your Sunday early games open thread. I will be at my daughter's cheerleading competition where spirit fingers will be involved, but that's another story. I will at least have a few other dads to commiserate with. I think I'm going to start a business with a mobile bar and big screen TV for events like these. I'd make a fortune. Talk to you tonight.

Jets game or Falcons game.... hmmm
Watching the Jets. They’re down 7-3 right now but Marc SanchIZE has been leading a nice drive to take the lead. Really wish I had the Chiefs versus Oakland though… :P

They just did some body stats on Maurice Jones-Drew. Guy is a monster
He is 5’7" and has 20" biceps and 32" thighs… guy is like solid muscle.

watching bengals and steelers right now
Steelers just went ahead 9-6. Both team’s defenses been getting to the QBs quite a bit, though the Steelers have still been able to drive deep.

Steelers and Jets lose!
The two teams I hate the most in the NFL. Oh happy day. Now the Pats need to complete the trifecta and beat the Colts =]

Holy Upset Weekend...
USC…Miami…
Jacksonville…Washington…Carolina…
The Rams almost pulled one off (and I’m sure this tape will be used well by Hoodie), the Bucs almost upset the Dolphins (barring an insane return by the Bucs)
Good sign for the Pats?

I think Shannon Sharpe took some speech classes during the off season
I can actually understand him now.

That is funny
Nice to see Pittsburgh and the Jets go down. Miami pulled it off in the last seconds.
Keep the faith!

It's good for them.
If they lost to the Bucs, it would just be more ammo against them saying they’re only as good as their record. I’d like to think they’re better than that. But maybe Josh Freeman is the real deal?

Ronnie Brown is hurt though
thats a big blow, hopefully its not too serious.

I was thinking about you that last minute... but the Fins got their win
I have a feeling our game tonight might be similar. It’s funny because we have a houseful of people, tons of food, but everyone’s too nervous to eat. I hate these night games!
Keep the faith!

yeah, it sucks to wait all night. I'm quite pumped up for it. It should be a purely awesome game
I won’t be able to root for you guys in this game or the rest of the season, I hope you understand.

There will be 'roid rage in Pittsburgh tonight
The Bengals seem impressive, which is great for them, but bad for my not-so-secret desire to steal some of their players. If they’d had another bad season they might’ve had a firesale of older, expensive WRs. Thou shalt not covet Chad Ochocinco as thy second outside receiver…
The Rams almost upset the Saints? Hah. Drew Brees was beaten for yardage and threw more interceptions than Mark Bulger. Ouch. Take out either a 55 yard run from Reggie Bush or a New Orleans kick return for a TD, and the Rams would’ve taken it. Pretty weak from a 9-0 Saints team, especially when they give up 15 first downs to Mark Bulger and 131 yards @ 5 yards per rush to Steven Jackson. One or the other might make sense, but both is horrendous.

chad oncho
wonder if the Hoodie would like him to be a Patriot…he seems friendly in this video.

Hoodie has said he's a fan
and while Ochochinco’s antics are a bit outside the Pats do-nothing, say-nothing norms, he’s not really a liability to the team’s reputation, merely his own. I wonder if Belichick would turn a blind eye to it if he ever wound up in Foxboro.

from his book, chad seems to be fond of The Hoodie…hope when his contract is up, maybe The Hoodie will give me a contract…i want to see Moss, Welker and Child-Please lined up…try stopping that

It'd be like
Harrison, Wayne and Brandon Stokely, a few years ago. With Ben Watson occasionally playing Dallas Clark. Ooh, that’d be fun.

oh god no
The last thing Brady needs is another WR, a miami native no less.

inactives are out
Friday was the game playing not Wed/Thurs
Matt Light, Ty Warren, Jarvis Green and Sammy Morris out.
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.

maybe we do the hybrid 3-4/ 4-3 split again

I'm gonna guess...
Tully Banta-Cain + Wright + Pryor + Wilfork
I think they’ll play Wilfork on the outside.

On the Colts side
Mike Pollak goes from full time starter, to spliting time, to benched to inactive in the span of 9 games. Tony Ugoh healthy scratched again too. Gonzalez, Hayden and Vinny obviously out. STer safety out hurt and backup blocking TE healthy scratched. Sorgi is the 3rd QB instead of the backup.
