Open Game Thread #2: Pats @ Colts

Nice start, but I'm afraid of a momentum shift. If we let Manning set the pace, our DLs will be gassed. We're getting the ball first in the second half.

Wow. Twice we've had the chance to put this game all-but-away, and twice we've turned it over in their endzone.
That's a touch that Morris or Taylor would otherwise have had.
Now we know why.

GIVE MAroNEY A BREAK!
yeah, it was a damn stupid mistake, but you guys wouldn’t be like this if it was faulk.
Because Faulk has played well in many games.
Maroney has not.
by Ben Buchanan on Nov 15, 2009 10:52 PM EST up reply actions
faulk used to fumble all the time. back before 07.
no one ripped on him as much as people ripped on maroney.
by patriotguy2 on Nov 15, 2009 10:53 PM EST up reply actions
We wouldn't be giving Faulk grief...
…because he produces when called upon against good competition. LoMo, no so much.
And God does he ever produce. Do they keep individual 3rd down conversion statistics?
It’d be incredible, I bet.
by Ben Buchanan on Nov 15, 2009 10:54 PM EST up reply actions
Remember, Faulk started off as a first-string RB
and wasn’t that good. He converted himself into a stud 3rd down conversion back over the years. Hoodie resurrection job on Maroney? Faulk fumbled more than Maroney does as a first-string RB, too.
