Worst loss Since Super Bowl

In my opinion this is the patriots worst loss since the superbowl. they were playing good football. the colts did to but i dont understand how we let them come back to beat us. Sebastian vollmer did an excellent job holding off the d-line.

Star-divide

We were playing like it was nothing to us and they come back to beat us that pisses me the hell off. but i gurantee you we will beat them in the playoffs if they can get past their first game in the playoffs.

Don't let it eat you alive

It’s just one game. ONE game in the middle of the regular season that didn’t take away our chance to win the division and be in the playoffs. We’ll see how the rest of the season works out, but this could be the loss that brings the team together and wakes them up to the whole 60 minutes thing all over again. Ya never know.

Keep the faith!

I like things better

when you don’t guarantee anything, andrew29910. You guaranteed a win over the Colts this week, and tried to goad Colt fans with asinine insults and bragging – something Belichick, Brady and co never, ever do. Now you’re guaranteeing a victory over the Colts in the next meeting, for no other reason that I can see other than how it “pissed you off”.

It’s all very nice that you get personally involved in Pats games and everything, but baiting opposition fans of a very, very good team, guaranteeing victories that have nothing to do with you, and generally being obnoxious to opposition fans who come over to Pats Pulpit in good faith that they won’t be trolled isn’t doing you favours. There’s a line between being a loyal Pats supporter and being obnoxious to everyone, and perhaps you should try slightly harder to stay on the better side of it.

Thank you for that

I hate that I genually like (most of) you guys now. You can’t have a closer game without us actually tying. I hope we meet again in the playoffs.

It would be an appropriate matchup

so if and when it happens, I’ll look forward to it, too. Good luck until then, unless it’s detrimental to the Pats.

Worse than losing Brady in week one?

not that it makes me feel any better about that game

But didn’t we win that one, technically? Ugh, such trauma, I think I had blocked it out of my consciousness.

Wow!

I’m surprised that you had the nerve to even get on the internet, much less come back to a site where you incessantly talked smack about the Colts sucking only to have it blow up in your face. To the rest of you Pats-lovers I feel for you, if anyone understands the disappointment and letdown from a game like this it’s us. You used to deal them out to us like nobody’s business.

BUT FOR YOU andrew29910 I SAY EAT IT!

P.S. In case you hadn’t noticed not even the Pats fans around here like you. Why don’t you do everyone a favor and slink away.

Don't fret for us.

It’s not a big deal. A road game outside the division is about as non-critical as a game can get. The Jets game this week is much more important. It would have been nice to beat the Colts though. Hopefully we will meet again when the games mean more.

Good comeback by Manning & Co. They exploited a young gassed Pat’s D masterfully.

Warm up the Duck Boats!!!

I guess you didn't quite understand why abuse on here isn't clever...

Don’t make me hijack your thread. I will. I have the powahhhh.

In other news – Ray Lewis is upset that Browns QB laid the smackdown on a Ravens LB. Because QBs are known for their thuggish behaviour and unconscionable hits on poor, defenceless LBs. Aww de putty wittle Way.

what??? Ray Lewis upset at another QB?

He’s cheating on Brady!

There was a time that sort of thing would get you thrown in jail.

Luckily for him, times have changed.

And even in that photo he has a news microphone within reach

I wonder if the judge and court staff were in collusion against the Ravens, too? If that microphone had been 10 inches higher, I bet we would’ve found out.
