Patriots in the RedZone, sponsored by ComCast

Talk 4th and 2 all you want.  In our matchup against the Colts, we went 3 for 6 in the RedZone.  RedZone efficiency doesn't always determine success on the field (Randy Moss's 63 yard TD pass), but it IS a good indication of how well a team does when the game gets "compressed" inside the 20.  And, in the case of this past Sunday, it was certainly one of the contributing factors to our loss.  In for 6 vs. a Stephen Gostkowski field goal and game over.

Despite its troubles in the RedZone, New England is at 45% for the year.  Not bad, but it would be good to see some improvement.

Laurence Maroney only has two fumbles in his entire career

Law Firm spilled a red zone fumble in pre-season against third-string and free agency bait. Lo-Mo might dance, but he isn’t a fumbler.

Morris ought to get goal-line carries, and Taylor can when he gets back into the rotation, too. Morris is a burrower, I’d prefer him.

They haven't said

but I’d imagine they were thinking post-season for him.
