Rex Ryan is a drama queen
Now he's whining about the late pass. If anything that late pass was a silent 'tip of the hat' to Darrelle Revis...having fun with the Revis/Moss rivalry. Ryan seems like he wants to manipulate every event to try and get his team to hate the Pats, and while finding motivation is one thing it's just pitiable for him to do it in public, especially when he has to bend reality to make his point. He's like the TO of coaches.

seriosuly for the whoel week his guys have been hyping up the rivalry
Ryan talks trash before the game and says blah blah. The pats takes one jab at him in game and hes says it’s disrespectful…really man? the guy who talks so much trash and who;s team runs their mouth off every second says the pats were disrespectful to them? what a joke…
I'll never get the view that playing hard on the field is disrespecting an opponent
The team that folds and gives up is disrespecting their opponent, not the other way around. And no, that’s not arrogant, that’s how it was for years when the Patriots were on the other end of the lopsided scores. There were no headlines about the other team rubbing it in – especially when having only a 17 point lead.

Too bad the headline writers
at the NY Post or NY Daily News didn’t think of that one first.

Did they?

I just don't get it...
What exactly are you supposed to do? Kneel and turn the ball over? Punt on first down? Not put any players on the field, or just leave them huddled to the side?
You get paid to play for 60 minutes, there is no mercy rule. Keep playing the game until the whistle. I think its disrepectful not to keep trying. It basically says “you guys suck so bad, we are just going to stop” This whole ego thing is out of hand. If you want respect EARN IT, keep playing hard. If you want the pats to stop, then why did you just do a 2 minute drive at the end. If the game was over and it was disrepectful for 1 team to try to score, they why wasn’t it disrepectful for the other team to do the same thing? I can see if the Jets just knelled down 4 times in a row, resulting in a turn over and the pat, THEN the Pats tried to score… that is disrepectful. But continuing to try to play after your opponent just did the same thing… Really?. There isn’t a welfare system for respect.
and besides, look what the 59-0 beating of the Titans has led to
They were thoroughly embarrassed enough to completely regroup, before going on to win their next 4 straight.
Keep the faith!
I predicted that could happen in one of the posts.
Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can climb back up. If we’d have quit trying in the the first half, they might still suck.

I remember reading last year
That the Arizona Cardinals were motivated the exact same way after the Patriots beat them in a blowout, they rode that wake up call to the Superbowl and had nothing but praise and thanks for the Patriots for showing them respect as football players to not let up.
Plus if you get thoroughly hammered in a game
you get plenty of tape to study, see all your issues, and potentially fix. If someone gives up after half time, you only get half of the tape showing you how much work you’ve got to do.

Q:"So Rex how did the Patriots show you disrespect?"
Rex: “Well it really started with the first snap they took. You see they brought Brady, Moss and Welker in instead of the second and third stringers.”
Q: “You think they were trying to run up the score?”
Rex: “Of course, that’s what they do. They bring those guys in and they score points, see. But if they brought in the second stringers, they might throw interceptions like Mark does. They’re not plating fair.”

We spotted them a blocked punt!
Besides,we were just trying to give Revis an INT at the end of the game to make it more balanced. 5 turnovers to 1 is just sad.
