Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

The NFL announced today that the Week 13 Minnesota Vikings-Arizona Cardinals game on Sunday, December 6 will be played at 8:20 PM ET on NBC and the New England Patriots-Miami Dolphins game that day will move to 1:00 PM ET on CBS.

That's okay with me. One o'clock game times are Brady's favorite.

crap

That makes it less likely I’ll be able to watch. At least with the primetime games, I know I’ll get coverage in my area :(

Since the Vikes aren't in the same time slot, I've got a shot to see it.

Should Belichick claim the NFL has now "disrespected" him?

…by moving the Patriots game out of prime time? That seems to be the way things are done these days in the AFC East. Oh, wait. That’s just the way LOSING coaches operate. Whine, whine, whine. Seriously, as Marima picked up on instantly, the only reason this game is being moved is so the Football Night in America crew at NBC can slobber over Brett Favre for 5 hours.

by ProfessorTodd on Nov 24, 2009 8:49 PM EST reply actions

Or maybe its a better game

Seriously, that is a quality football game that could very well decide who gets that second bye.

No disrespect, but the Pats-Dolphins game isn’t that good. Without Ronnie Brown, you guys are easily much better.

Incorrect, the Dolphins always play the Pats hard and I’m sure most of the Patriots fans have my back with that. Besides this game is a game within a division which already makes it more exciting of a game than a non-division game between Favre and Warner.

Lucky for me I’m a huge Favre fan so I’ll be watching that game along with mine but I still find it to be a little ridiculous that our game got moved out of prime time and back to 1 in the afternoon.

What the Favre is your problem?

Just kidding. But yeah, The Phins always show up ready to play the Pats.

I think the Panthers thought the same thing about the Dolphins without Ronnie Brown

They were wrong, too.

I was thinking the same thing when I read that

Ricky Williams had a beast of a game and the whole team stepped up.

Keep the faith!

Ricky is running pained for Ronnie.

With that in his mind, he’s dangerous.

yep, thank you. There is no way we should be discounted because we are missing a star player.

Our game is still guaranteed to be a great game and if I happen to be wrong, I’ll admit it. I just hope the NFL has to eat crow for switching our game.

really freaking inconsiderate

Folks make their travel schedules weeks and even months in advance.

I just heard a guy on the radio yesterday talking about how he and his sons, who are in the military and have been deployed for most of recent times and he hasn’t seen much of, had planned to finally meet for this game. So he and they are all flying from different places into Miami.

One of them won’t be able to arrive until Sunday afternoon – too late for a 1pm start.

Nice going, NFL.

disappointing to hear

I suppose the NFL, in its defense, can cite that it identifies flex-scheduling possibilities at the start of the season, but realistically, how can people be expected to plan for so many scenarios that may or may not occur?
