Bills/Pats, take two: talk Bills with Buffalo Rumblings
No.
The answer is no. I, nor the faithful fans at Buffalo Rumblings, have not yet completely gotten over the Leodis McKelvin fumble.
Also, no, I have not gotten over the fact that the Bills are 1-17 in their last 18 games against your Patriots.
And, lastly, no, I don't think Buffalo will win this weekend. But thanks to the suddenly human play of guys like Brady and Moss, I'm at least willing to entertain the notion that Buffalo might not get completely embarrassed at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Which would be nice, seeing as how I'll be there.
You have Bills questions. I know you do. This is the best spot to ask 'em.
Best of luck to your team this weekend. Stay healthy. And please, for the love of all that is holy, do what you can to keep Rex Ryan out of the playoffs.

Hello!
Who do think has more detrimental injuries, the Bills or the Pats?
Last I checked, both teams were scraping the bottom of their respective barrels (The Pats checked out two guys from the UFL, a RB and DE).
Well, we just put in a waiver claim for Richie Incognito. You put in any waiver claims for guys who throw two head butts in a game and piss off their own fans? :)

Yeah, not very "incognito" is he?

As we approach the end of the season, how do you feel about TO?
What’s his future in Buffalo?

I don’t think he has a future in Buffalo. Why would he want to come back? He’s proven this season that he’s capable (again) of keeping his mouth shut for a while, and he’s obviously still got plenty left in the tank talent-wise. Some contender will sign him. If they don’t, I’d be happy to have him back. He’s a pleasure to watch.

Given the lack of a 3WR in the Pats...
if it was a choice between having the Pats sign TO next year (hypothetically, of course) and keeping him (I believe the Bills had a fairly lucrative extension option for a second season), which is more likely?
In other words – is TO too useful to give up and/or too dangerous to lose to someone else?

He’s useful, but we have so many needs that it might be prudent to let him walk so that we can build the O-Line.
I would hate seeing him sign with someone the Bills play.

How likely do you think it is that your temp HC will be your new HC?
How much house cleaning is the owner going to do?

I doubt Fewell is here next year, because the Bills are apparently looking to overhaul their personnel department. When that happens, a new coach usually happens, too.
I like Fewell, though. I think he’s a good coach, and I think he’s very capable of being a head coach full-time.

Should the Bills draft a QB with the first rounder?
"These players, a lot of other people didn't believe in them, but they believe in themselves. And that is all that matters."- Bill Belichick
I’m a proponent of Best Player Available. They certainly need a franchise quarterback, but I don’t like it when teams force the issue. As an example – if St. Louis takes Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen over Ndamukong Suh this April, they’d be idiots.

What are the odds that Brian Brohm is your starting QB next year?
The guy obviously has a lot of talent — he was considered a possibility for the #1 overall pick in the draft at one time — but he couldn’t even make the roster as a third stringer in Green Bay. Given that Clausen isn’t going to be available by the time you guys pick, Bradford’s shoulder would literally explode behind your line, and any other QB you might be able to get in the first or second round won’t be any more ready to start in the NFL next year than your own Captain Checkdown, Brohm would seem to be your best option, but he strikes me as the kind of guy who could turn into another JP Losman.
And speaking of Captain Checkdown...
…do you think Trent Edwards is truly incapable of playing in the NFL, or has his confidence just been ruined by playing for a coach whose idea of aggressive playcalling is throwing the ball six inches downfield?
I don’t think his confidence was ruined by Jauron, but by the fact that he’s had a different offensive coordinator in each of his three seasons. He’s getting conflicting ideologies from different parts of the coaching staff, and it confused him to the point where it almost looked like he gave up trying.
If Trent lands in a situation where an offensive system is established and he’s working behind a veteran, I think he has the tools and the smarts to resuscitate his career.

Low. New regime coming in, and that means a new quarterback. Brohm is very much a project, and if he’s with Buffalo next season, it’ll likely be as the third quarterback.

One more question
I completely forgot — any news on Eric Wood? The replays of his injury were horrifying to watch, and I’m sure everyone here is wishing him a complete recovery.
Perry Fewell said his injury was not career-threatening. He’s back in Buffalo, and has apparently begun his long healing process. I’ve heard rumors that he might not be ready for the start of training camp next July, but that’s hard to validate at this point in time.

On the subject of TO
Did you ever expect him to be as useless as he is right now?
Beer is good! And stuff!
He hasn't been useless as of late with Fitzpatrick...
…it’s just that Edwards couldn’t throw the ball further than 6 yards down field.

Yeah, he’s definitely not useless right now.
