Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Joey Galloway

Reports are that he is heading to the Patriots for a tryout.

"Galloway had only 13 receptions for 138 yards and no touchdowns. However from 2005-2007, Galloway averaged 67 receptions, 1,119 yards, and nearly 8 touchdowns."

Would be a good addition as a third receiver if he could come back into form, avoid injuries, and be left alone with everyone focusing on Moss and Welker.  Being the third receiver wouldn't entail being on the field every snap and would keep him rested and possibly get his legs back.  Liked him with Tampa Bay, until last year of course.  Porked me in Fantasy Football!!!

Galloway

is what Moss will be in 5 or 6 years. A step or two slower, a bit more injury prone, but still a deep threat that is never rattled.

This line will remain in my signature until the Colts draft Rashad Jennings in 2009.

if anything

he’s been underrated for most of his career, just about never having elite QBs on his teams.

it wouldn't hurt

he be another deep threat. i would rather have him at #2. WHY DOESNT ANYONE WANT WELKER IN THE SLOT. lets not pick a #3 reciever, pick him for #2. Welker is 10x dangerous in the slot. so i think he would not be bad, but i can’t see him doing any better with us. But like i said, it wouldn’t hurt.
