Should the Pats sign Terrell Owens?
wouldnt be so dope if New England Patriots would sign Terrell Owens?
i know y'all say that he is a distraction and everything like that but look what our coach has done to Randy Dandy. he made Moss nuy in to the winning culture and i think he can do that to TO too.
and having TO would give us 3 great receivers and maybe can get us to the SuperBowl.
whatchu guys think?

even if he weren't a distraction
the idea of moss and TO working in harmony would make the rest of the Def coordinators cry.

Randy Moss didn’t play to his ability when he was in Oakland, a team that was “just dysfunctional Baby!” where players and coaches have been hemorrhaging ever since. He doesn’t need chaos like Terrell Owens does, and in fact avoids the media. When’s the last time you’ve seen Moss having special prime-time interviews to explain his side of anything to the national media, or seen him go off on his quarterback or teammates? And believe me, if he had the cameras would have caught it because all eyes were on him waiting for it to happen once Brady went down.
And remember, we didn’t need three great receivers to win our Super Bowls.
Keep the faith!
IFF (if and only if)
…Moss wasn’t wearing a Patriots uniform and that’s a VERY big iff. This is going to sound major league sappy, but perhaps the most important factor in the Patriots success has been teamwork and harmony. Noone’s an A+ talent, but there are enough B, B+ (and mayb a few A’s) to make it happen WITH teamwork. Judging from what I’ve seen of TO, I’d have a hard time believing even Hoodie could rehab him. He’s toxic. He may be extraordinarily talented, but he will never reach the same levels as Moss will simply because he will not adopt humility and compassion for his fellow teammates. Those 2 qualities are, I believe, the cornerstone of leaders.

HELL NO!!!!
T.O. is the biggest baby in NFL….no balls his way he cries, no media attention he cries, not enough catches he blames the offensive coordinator. I hate his childish antics, always “me” first instead of team first. Moss went a sh*tload of games last year playing a bit part to Welker, did he complain NO. TO would’ve bitched and moaned like the world was against him. He is another example of a pampered athlete who thinks he is owed the world, in the same mold as Manny Ramirez.
I think
if BB signed TO than he would come here under BB’s rules, and if not than BB won’t sign him. Our locker room has the best influence on players than any other team in the league. If TO comes here, he and moss might both enjoy burning up opposing secondaries. It would give us an almost unfair offense. However if TO ever acts up, BB could always trade him. so signing him, to me, its a win win situation.
Quick question from a Bronco fan....
Would you guys consider trading our 1st round (#12) with your for your 1st round (#23ish) and giving us your 2nd rounder (#58ish?). You would be able to land an impact LB like Maualuga or Cushing to complement Mayo. What say you?
Moot point anyway
It looks like the Bills signed him:

That’s going to end up destroying their QB. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it has a negative effect on the already poor behavior of their starting RB, too.
but the speeeeed
Bills are going to be tough to defend now, with TO opposite Lee Evans. Hopefully there’ll be enough locker room cancer going around to help hobbs and springs deal with that…
Not really
Just put a physical corner on TO — he gives up if he gets jostled too much at the line — and rush up the middle on their non-existent middle of the offensive line. TO will be out of the play and Edwards won’t have time to find Evans. Combine that with the clubhouse cancer that is TO, and Edwards will turn into the second fumbling of JP Losman.
huh
I’ve heard that said about Moss, but not T.O.
With T.O. I specifically remember on a TV broadcast they talked about how hard T.O. is to jam because he’s bigger and stronger than pretty much every CB in the league.

Gotta agree with ya..
TO is a much bigger receiver than most, very physical and hard to contain. He may be the biggest bitch in the NFL but he can throw guys around and get open when he needs to, just don’t ignore him for 2 plays in a row.
Evans and TO are gonna be an interesting combo in the AFC, plus Marshawn Lynch ( if he can stay outta trouble) and you have a formula for success…..who’s the starter though Losman, Edwards, or some yet un named QB — maybe Warner will come to Buffalo now that’d be great. ….whatever the story It makes for one hell of an exciting matchup when the Pats play them now. Never a dull moment …
It's Edwards
Losman is a free agent and won’t be back. And Warner isn’t going anywhere near Buffalo.
I've seen it many times
Even ESPN picked up on it this year — just this week, they were showing “highlights” of TO giving up on a timing route because the CB was all over him at the snap, resulting in an interception. Granted, he probably wouldn’t have gotten to the ball anyway given the coverage, but it’s a lot harder to intercept a pass when the intended receiver makes an effort to get to it.
I didn't see a lot of TO last year
the work ethic may have gone some last year, maybe helped Dallas make the choice to let him go. If he’s trying which he didn’t usually have a problem with he’s very hard to jam at all.

He's gotten old
And as frequently happens with selfish, self-entitled people, he doesn’t seem to think he needs to work so hard anymore — though the fact is, if he wants to be as effective as he used to be, he needs to work twice as hard.
