Whoever is to blame, Josh McDaniels and the Broncos or Bus Cook / Jay Cutler, I cannot help but think the way Cutler and Cook have handled this has been nothing short of unacceptable.

Cutler can't be more of a baby in this situation
IMO maybe McD was wrong in the way he handled things, but Cutler isn’t making himself look any better.
This was so blown up it's ludicrous
Cutler asked for a trade when Shanahan was let go. Teams asked McDaniels about Cutler, McDaniels considered it but didn’t act anything. Cutler’s feelings are hurt because his name came up in trade talks. What the heck? What am I missing?
It’s like one of those stupid arguments you get into with your spouse about who was the last one in and left the light on in the car and drained the battery, that turns into a major door-slamming “My mother was right, I never should have married you!” blow-up. There is no logical path on how things went downhill so fast and furious, which leads me to believe that Cutler simply wanted out.
He didn’t want change, had already decided it wasn’t going to work out, and that was that. With a contract in place, Cutler’s method to get himself traded and still try to come off as a good guy was to cry on Chris Mortensen’s national shoulder for sympathy, play up his self-righteous indignation, and never ever communicate directly or alone with the guy who hurt his feelings. Why not talk with McDaniels? Because that might have ruined his whole plan.
Keep the faith!
