Shots Heard 'Round the Web: April Fool's Edition

Well, I guess the joke has run its course. As always, it is a blast to come here and pretend I'm a Patriots fan. I hope my stories were, at the very least, informative with news and opinions on the Pats. I close with some links for you to sink your teeth into.

• Draft prospects the Pats may have targeted, Clay Matthews and Brian Cushing, ran the 40 at their Pro Days. Matthews ra a 4.44 while Cushing a 4.70.
• SS James Sanders is slated to start next year at safety alongside Brandon Meriweather. That is a very potent safety tandem, folks.
• The Pats worked out LB Jason X. Williams from Western Illinois.
• Joey Galloway's contract is a 1 year deal with 1.5 million in base pay.
• Belichick is taking a look at Tennessee's Robert Ayers.
• They're also holding a workout for Northern Illinois' Larry English.
• Patriots by position: Wide Receivers.
