TE for the Patriots? Belichick works out Florida's Cornelius Ingram
I'm sure there's a lot of demands on a head coach. Since Scott Pioli departed there's probably been more demands. I think we'd be hard pressed to find a better "scout" for the Patriots than Bill Belichick. As head coach, there's probably noone better qualified than he to evaluate talent.
So, when Belichick uses a chunk of his precious to privately evaluate a player, you can bet there's interest. Thus is the case with Florida's TE Cornelius Ingram. You won't hear that name a lot because he's labeled by many draft boards as a second or third rounder. At 6-4 245 lbs, he's a bit small for a TE and needs to bulk up to shed blocks. Many of his deficiencies, as reported by draftcountdown.com, might be fixable. Maybe the kid has a chip on is shoulder and has something to prove, the kind of kid that will work harder than everyone else. Who knows.
When Bill schedules a private workout, there's interest. Here's hoping Bill turn him into something dangerous.

Keep in mind
Belichick is already scheduled to be in Florida this weekend as the featured speaker (along with Jon Gruden) for the annual University of Florida coaching clinic. Belichick is also good friends with Gators head coach Urban Meyers, so he may have convinced BB that Ingram was worth the look.
Keep the faith!
