There's no other way to phrase it. Bill Belichick is a genius when it comes to running the war room. There is simply put nobody better than the great Bill Belichick.

The value in this draft was in round two. So what does Belichick do even with all his picks? He trades out of round one, gets extra picks for next year and he still comes away with phenomenal talent for the upcoming season.

Ron Brace, Defensive Tackle out of Boston College. I thought he was a surefire second round pick and one of the most underrated players in this Draft and listen, Vince Wilfork is without a contract for next year and that's a great pick by Bill Belichick.

Patrick Chung. I talked to Bill Belichick on Sirius NFL Radio on day two of the Draft. He loves his talent and how cerebral he is. That was a tremendous first pick of the Draft in round two for the New England Patriots.

Darius Butler, versatile, physical, experienced cornerback out of UConn that will certainly help out the defensive backfield. And I thought they'd consider him in round one if they would have stayed in the first round.

Brandon Tate out of North Carolina, had some issues off the field. Belichick said that he spent a lot of time with the player and he really likes him as a player and as a person, and I love that move in round three.

They get a guy who can run the Wildcat, they get a long-snapper, and they get picks for next year. Classic Bill Belichick. It's his world, we're just all living in it.
