"I'm just watching SportsCenter every day to watch for it to come across the ticker," said Porter of the Dolphins signing Taylor. "I mean Jason really doesn't want to go anywhere from me talking to him, but if it doesn't happen he would have to. Hopefully, we can get him in before he makes that trip out to New England because you really don't want to have to play against him twice a year.

when Joey "the mouth" Porter speaks
I know there’s a smidgen of truth and relevancy in there somewhere in all the self-promotional wind… the trick is to sift through it all, and I have no desire to devote that much energy into caring what the guys says.
Keep the faith!

not sure
Seems to me the Fins would be crazy not to take him back but…I honestly don’t know enough about their situation to say for sure. As a Pats fan, I’d be thrilled to bring him on board if he wants to come. And I don’t really buy the talk (from some ppl) that it would somehow “tarnish his legacy” if he played a year or two for the Pats. I mean, come on. It would be one thing if the Dolphins offered him a nice contract and he spurned them and signed with the Pats just as a money grab or something. But if he wants to come back for them and they don’t want him, how could it tarnish his legacy to go play for another team? Especially one with a real legit shot to give him a Superbowl ring? I don’t get it.

Legacy
I’m on the fence with this one. I mean, football’s football and players move around a lot. On the other hand, at least two ‘Fins fans I’ve talked to agree Taylor would take a hit if he moved to the Pats.
