"We proved that the AFC East comes through Miami, and having that feeling, knowing that we're the [division] champions until proven otherwise," he added. "Our mindset is to win the division, set ourselves up for a playoff spot and then anything can happen once we reach the playoffs.

such typical Porter bluster
Channing Crowder recently had a snit fit against unnamed Patriots players declaring they will take back the division:
Talk is cheap – always. Congratulations that they have microphones in front of them and they’re real childish and don’t have the respect for other guys and don’t know how to be professionals and want to talk junk in, what’s this, June?
OK, talk junk in June. You don’t play any games in June, so they need to really shut the hell up and wait until the season starts. We won the division. We didn’t just win a couple games. We won the division, which means last year we were the best team in the AFC East.
Which Patriots??? I don’t know, but that’s beside the point. Miami is indeed the division leader until another team knocks them off. Maybe Channing should talk to Porter then about his “talking junk” in front of microphones about winning championships then. I think the Steelers hold that title until February.
Keep the faith!
You’d think they won the super bowl with the kind of respect they’re demanding. Jealousy is oozing from Channing’s pours. After this he went home, sat on his couch crying, eating cookie-dough while watching America’s Game: NE Patriots on NFL TV and saying to himself ‘Why not me?’.
yeah, lol, and he'd be the first one on a plane
if Belichick called wanting him in a Patriots uniform.
Keep the faith!
Ha
The Dolphins backed into the title and everyone knows it, or does Porter forget that Matt Cassel lit them up when it should have been the division on the line.
"These players, a lot of other people didn't believe in them, but they believe in themselves. And that is all that matters."- Bill Belichick

a likely story...
now I can print whatever I want and later just type an “oops, I forgot to log out and this troll came in and used my computer” excuse. Brilliant!!! ; )
Keep the faith!
LOL
In 2008 they were the division leader… Who was it in 2007? and guess what its 2009 not 2008 that makes them nothing at all anymore! : ) Its a new year and its on baby! Just more bulletin board material.. hehehehe
just like the Jets
Come on give us some more bulletin board material… First its Rexy about taking pats players away from us , and now its about not going to kiss BB’s superbowl rings… Now the big mouth Porter crying about something from last year… Man they just don’t know when to shut up at all… Keep on talking and get us more fired up for that week… Hmmm… Maybe can i say blow out like the redskins in 07 after their head coach said to much.. BB just kept giving it to em until the game was over… I hope that happens to both these teams for the crud that they are shoveling our way… What goes around comes around…
I think you guys are missing the point...
All anyone is talking about on ESPN and NFLN are Brady’s return to the Pats, coach Foghorn Leghorn and Dirty Sanchez in New York, and T.O. and “North America’s” team. The only thing they mention about Miami is that “oh they got a tough schedule this year bla bla bla…” This is what’s fueling their fire right now which is why they’re retaliating with smack talk of their own and reminding everybody that Miami is still a contender in this division.
I'm still waiting for Crowder to name which Patriots players
have been standing in front of their microphones dissing the Dolphins. The word “delusional” comes to mind.
Keep the faith!
No, she's not.
She hasn’t refuted your point at all. She’s pointing out a huge hole in Crowder’s statement. It’s one thing to be mad at the media for overlooking you, but when you try to pin it on the Patriots like they were the ones saying negative things about you, you’re simply wrong.
If you or any other Dolphins fan would like to point out where the Patriots have dissed the Phins this offseason, we’d appreciate it.
