Crable, Warren on PUP
According to an NFL source, Patriots second-year outside linebacker Shawn Crable and veteran left defensive end Ty Warren will start training camp on the team's physically unable to perform list.

Welker started last year on PUP, but came off and finished camp.
Hopefully, these two do as well. I agree Crable needs to face the Tackles in camp. Crables fast, it would help the Tackles as well.
There was some advantage in starting a player on PUP, but I don’t remember what it was.

No panic yet
I agree – there is no reason to panic yet. However, there is a big difference between a veteran missing part of camp and what is essentially a rookie doing it. Crable has been injured a lot, so starting on the PUP-list is not at good sign – and he needs the reps.

Crable so far is not Vrabel
I wonder what his injury is. It would be really nice if he could make it all the way to say … the regular season. Seems a might fragile.

Warren is great on the right side where i think Crable would also be,
So if there not ready for game time we might be in trouble.
But i think they should be ok at some point before games.
