Real Men of Genius
Patrick Allen over at Arrowhead Pride wrote some NFL parodies of the Bud Light Real Men of Genius ads. As you read them you can almost hear the announcers voice in your head. (Yes, there are always voices in my head, but that's a different story). Here are the links to his: The lines in parenthesis () are the singer's voice-over.
And my own attempt to , um, no player in particular....
Today we salute you Mr. "I can't decide if I want to stay retired guy".
(Mr. I can't decide if I want to stay retired guy.)
Sure you say you play for the love of the game, but what is the game you're playing?
(Ooooh that ain't football!)
While other players retire with class, you change your mind more often than a teen age girl looking for shoes in the mall.
(Oooooh, I like these sandals!)
Sure, you have mad skills, and an even madder desire for revenge.
But you're also a locker room cancer once the cameras are off.
(Heeey. Are we filming?)
You do whatever it takes every year to avoid OTA's,
and training camp, and the first third of the season.
(Waaaaake me for game time!)
Just so you can come out at the end of the season and play the hero or kill your teams chances trying.
So crack open an ice cold Bud Light oh "Emperor of Interceptions"
Because in the end if you can't get it done here, there's always another team to jerk around.
(Mr. I can't decide if I want to stay retired guy.)

Sorry, I gave it away.

LMAO!!
That was freaking hilarious. I love those commercials, we hear them all the time here in St. Louis. In fact, if you are ever down in St. Louis, go and take the AB brewery tour. It’s free, pretty interesting (at least it was for me), takes maybe a couple hours, and you get some complimentary beer out of it. And in the gift shop, they sell CD’s with all the Real Men of Genius commercials on them.
They have one that is a 2 disc set with the first two “seasons”, and a 3rd one with just one “season” on it. (seasons being the first group they released, then the second, etc.) I picked up the 2 disc one and we listened to it on the drive home and didn’t stop laughing the whole way. And its not too bad pricewise either, the 2 disc set was only like 7 or 8 bucks, the single one was like 5 or 6.

VERY funny
I would love to link this onto my team’s page, Buffalo Rumblings. Never done a link before so not sure how.

Now THAT is some funny shit!
As I happen to be a Vikings fan as well, The Daily Norseman has been abuzz with this #4 Diva crap the last 2 months. I swear to Dog, if I see him announce his intentions to re-enter the league in a couple weeks, I’m gonna fly to Louisiana and burn his farm to the ground. (not really, but I will certainly feel like it) As it is, I still feel like bitch slapping him for toying with peoples emotions.
Thank you drive through...
That was awesome....I could hear the voice in my head
I’m a Bills fan, but I can appreciate good quality humor even if it is from a rival team fan!!! Nice job!!!!
How many years can we go without making the playoffs...eventually the odds go in your favor.........right?!?!?
lol that was funny
and it made fun of my least favorite QB.
