Steve McNair, Dead at 36

Retired quarterback, Steve McNair, is dead at 36.

Stunning news Saturday afternoon in the world of sports as former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was shot to death in Nashville.

This is absolutely awful.  For full coverage, check out Music City Miracles, our Tennessee Titans blog.

[Editor's Note: props to r_adragna for this fanpost.  I neglected to give credit for noticing the Steve McNair story first]

The Death of Steve "air" McNair

This is a very sad moment in the sports world to lose a great quarterback like Steve McNair. Living in Houston I had the privilege to watch him with the Houston Oilers when he first came into the NFL before the Oilers left for Tennessee. I was always a fan of his . Even when he played for the Alcorn Braves back in college. Saw Steve post a comeback on Texas Southern University in a SWAC Division game and beat TSU by 15 points.
He will be missed.

tragedy

sounds like it may have been a homicide -suicide. And it’s strange there was mention made of a vehicle in both their names though they were not married. Was he still living with his wife? There are so many situations in which that happens and most think it’s because of being poor, or fear of losing a job or some material things – even rich people have their self-doubts and depressing moments though. Bless his family and hers indeed…
