Someone had to go
but I’m a bit surprised it was Hochstein who does so many things well. I guess this means we keep four tight ends for heavy formations.

I like it
Someone had to go, and as good a backup as Hochstein is, he’s still a backup. Might as well develop the rookies and stockpile another draft pick.

I like this new strategy
Instead of cutting a lower guy on the depth chart with more upside, they trade a slightly more valuable player. A trade is always better than a cut and those roster spots have to come from somewhere.

Wow!
We play hooky and head to the beach for one day… and Hochstein gets traded while I’m gone. Go figure. I liked Hochstein as a Patriot. Nothing should surprise me, but I didn’t see that coming at all.
Keep the faith!
