Who Kidnapped Our Patriots?
A bazillion penalties, dropped passes, overthrown passes, failure to score touchdowns in the red zone, strange playcalling (did Fred Taylor ever touch the ball again after his second consecutive long run?)—who were those strangers impersonating the Patriots? The only familiar thing was the inability to get really big stops on 3rd and long. Very disappointing. There’s plenty of season left, of course, and things will get much better since almost all of what ailed New England today can be fixed. But still, I hoped for much more. Did the offense miss Wes Welker that much?

I didn't see the game, but
probably. From what I heard, there was a fair bit of pressure on Brady again, and Welker is the usual outlet for it. If he isn’t there, Brady’s throwing to his second, third, fourth choices… and that’s not what a team wants to have to do.

well
all in all, defense on both teams were great, but to me the big difference is that brady and his receivers were off key, and that the jet cornerbacks performed excellent on moss and galloway, especially revis.
kudos to revis.
and even though brady was pressured often, i seen plenty of inaccurate throws from him, and his receivers looked lie they couldn’t escape the press coverage.
