Moss & Welker might not play against the Falcons..
There is a report that Moss and Welker are both questionable for sundays game against the Falcons.. Knee with Welker and back with Moss.. If both are out of the game what do u think are game plan should be and how much will this hurt the offense and our chances of coming out with a victory? I think Welker is a huge loss. Yes, Edleman is another in the wing and did awesome last week filling in.. But to have Moss out with Galloway still not completely on the same page with Brady.. I think that is a huge loss.. The next one in line is Aiken, and that is well iffy in my opinion so just curious what all u think about it..

yikes
well, if that’s true..
Active plan RUNRUNRUN
Maroney and Taylor combine for over 200 yards!!
man, we’re really the underdogs if they don’t play lol
"These players, a lot of other people didn't believe in them, but they believe in themselves. And that is all that matters."- Bill Belichick
if they don't play
i’m confident in nunn , edelman, and galloway. AND MARONEY!
it will be a tough one if...
Unless the defense finally shows up, and causes Ryan a bunch of problems.. It will be a tough game if Moss dont show up thats for sure. Even if Galloway and Brady come out of the blue and hook up left and right. Like nothing was ever wrong with the timing between them.
Not good
I don’t think we will see a lot from Aiken in that case. Probably a lot of running, two-tight end sets etc.
Title says it all
… This is troubling. Since the Pats are working out receivers, this obviously is a big deal.
Then again, if Brady could work with Caldwell, he can work with Edelman and Galloway.
You might see Watson in a Dallas Clark flex-TE/WR role
and maybe Maroney could fill in for some of those Welker-like flat routes – he’s got decent hands, and he is quick enough to run around LBs. He actually might do better as a pass-catching Reggie Bush type back than what he’s doing now; it’d be great to see what he can do making catches ahead of the line of scrimmage in space. I’m seeing a Faulk-day, though. Problem is, the Falcons probably are, too.
not saying that you did say this, but i just want to add...
he did very good the last 2 games running it regularly as well. i’d like to see more running plays next week. i think that they’re one of the top 10 worst rushing defenses at the moment.
No Moss+Welker= Me dont like
Jack of all trades-Master of None.....

Especially since it was so un-Moss-like
All those short crossing routes when he has to be sore and wanting to avoid contact – highly impressive and putting the team well above personal concerns. He’s being a leader, which isn’t what people predicted when the Pats signed him. Another Belichick redemption job come good.

There's an article I'm including in the links this morning
Mike Freeman of CBS Sports calls Moss an “unbelievable dog” and doesn’t know how the Patriots put up with him, especially Tom Brady (who, he assumes, must be privately irritated at him.) Oh, yeah, he doesn’t buy the “bad back” thing either. Freeman is an unbelievable toad.
Freeman completely dismisses Belichick’s specific praise of him too. Columnists like this are just looking for a reaction, I know, but maybe he can go concentrate on media-seeker T.O. for a while instead. Plenty of drama there.
Keep the faith!
I read that
Because leading the entire NFL in receptions is… pretty good? At least, I thought it was.
Maybe Moss should just waltz around the field and get nowhere near a throw/space/block for the entire duration of a game, a la TO. Then it’d be someone else’s fault. As opposed to doing his job and catching footballs, which is what he’s actually doing.
