Which Patriots throwback?
I'm in need of a new jersey and I need your help. As you know, this is the 50th anniversary of the AFL and the Patriots are one of the original AFL teams. Interestingly enough, our Monday Night Football rival, the Buffalo Bills, is one of the original AFL teams, too. Could that be why we get the MNF slot? Nah, just coincidence maybe.
I've setup a poll for you to pick the player's jersey I'm thinking of buying. If you've read this site long enough, you probably know who that is. I would also like you to comment on which player's jersey you'd choose to wear. Keep in mind, not every player has a throwback jersey, so scour the throwback section of Patriots.com's Pro Shop to make your selection.

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead
id go with welker or Mayo
a have a Brady Bruschi Moss Welker and Wilfork so thats the one id pick
but i voted mayo
I have a signed Wilfork
Which you can get by going to his website. I also have a Rodney throwback but if I were buying now, I’d probably go with Rodney or Vince.
Not sure
I only know about Vince’s website because my cousin won a contest on the site. I’m not even sure what other players have websites.
My Rodney jersey will ALWAYS be a classic
With apologies to Deion Sanders, “I love me some Rodney Harrison.”
But MaPatsFan, you’re a diehard Welker fan. (I know it, you know it, and the American people know it.)
Keep the faith!
Welker
Personifies the era, at least in the WR position, if you want to romanticize it.
Hmmmm, let me think.
Boy that's a really tough choice. <<<< Note: Sarcasm Font
I guess I’d go with Welker.

LIFETIME PATS FAN SORELY DISSAPOINTED
I think that the possibles should have more era’s to chose from and hey they coulda done a tribute to the selected player with highlights of that player, woulda been cool with old game footage,,,heck they even coulda done it with a lil tweaking with modern software to bring a 2 min highlite film with digital rendering, but i guess why get a choice cept from the “known names” when some one coulda done something worth a 50th Anniversary Tribute
FOR EXAMPLE…
what is with all these new players for the 50th anniversary?? shouldnt that list have the the historical players as the option. Yes big John Hannah is on the list but where is the like of Steve Grogan, Jim Nance, Mike Haynes, Andre Tippett or any of the other Patriot Greats to have played??
The list is flawed with richard seymor he’s a Raider for one and secondly ,,, it shoulda been Teddy Bruschi!!! heres a guy who may well be a Hall of Famer as well as an easy selectee to the Patriots Hall of Fame, ,,,,and Randy Moss,,,,,,Stanley Morgan,,,Nuff Said!!!
PATRIOTS FAN 4 LIFE!
randy moss
they will win the SB because of Randy Moss scoring 2 TDs
It may be now..it may be later...later aint gonna be no use! Am I right Al? We got alot of angry guys in their black panthers, muslims, young lords, besides you average anti-socials. We gotta go in, am I right, clean their clocks!
tedy bruschi
I am disappointed that Tedy Bruschi is not on the list. I own many Patriots jerseys but the only one i own in throwback red is #54. He will always be remembered as one of the great Patriot linebackers. Definitely go with Bruschi!
Hart Lee DYkes
wat about his jersey?
