Ravens safety Ed Reed told me, as we walked toward the team bus, "You know you’ve got to fight. We knew we had to fight against these guys. They’re champions. They’re champions."
"Being in this league for so many years," Ray Lewis added, "I've watched the greatest of the New England Patriots, so you have to tip your hat to them. They are one of the top-notch programs in professional football."

For every woman masturbating right now, there is a guy masturbating while imagining that woman masturbate.

i about lost my sh*t when he did that....
that aside, who is that kid to make those statements….
reminded me of when Sharpe did that in Denver (call in the National Guard taunt). I just don’t get when players take that tactic. No need.
but the sharpe thing was funny even when he did that against the pats

i mean
he didn’t succeed in cincy when they had a good wr corp of child plz, Tjay H, and the late chris henry…so we comes to NE and could not succeed w. us when NE had moss wes, stallworth and gaffeny.
of course he would succeed in baltimore bc they have no WR corp except for Mason

Even there he is 3rd or 4th on the roster.
Mason is #1, I can’t even think of a #2, but the Ravens guys said he was a 3rd or 4th. That’s pretty bad.

Not sure if you saw this
but while Ray was doing a postgame interview, Belichick came over, and gave Ray a Grizzly of a bear hug. Considering the postseason loss all the more stunning for BB, and just promotes the theory that when BB loves you, he loves you.
The respect between those two runs both ways.
EVH+DLR=BFFr........ God I Hope So!!
and i wish BB tried to get ray lewis to the pats this year

Ray hit free agency and was looking to get paid.
There was virtually no interest. We had traded Vrabel, but Bruschi was still on the team, Seau was still on the Bat-phone, Harrison hadn’t retired, and Seymour was still on the line.
It didn’t look like we needed a grizzled vet at the time.
Then Harrison retired, Bruschi retired, and Al Davis went gaga over Seymour. All we had left was Seau to come in and be a leader (might have helped more at the beginning of the season to set the tone). Too little, too late.
Ray finally went back and took what Baltimore was willing to pay. Would definitely have changed the game to have Ray staring across the line at the Ravens who had jilted him. He is also a guy who will call out players who don’t play. I’m looking at you Adalius.

if AT leaves, I won't miss him.
not just because he underwhelmed…i get it, players can have a bad games. the fact he was such a frickin’ baby about it, bugs me. look around him, i’m sure everyone was disappointed…you don’t hear them whining. geesh, get a grip Adalius
Adalius Thomas broke the code
I’m reading “”http://www.amazon.com/Football-Code-Footballs-Unwritten-Ignore-at-Your-Own-Risk/dp/1600781756/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263327442&sr=8-3#reader_1600781756" >The Code: Football’s unwritten rules and its ignore-at-your-own-risk code of honor" by Ross Bernstein. He has a section in there about the sanctity of the locker room and how what happens in the locker room needs to stay in the locker room. Without exception.
AD texting the media and his football buddies around the league to alert them to the discipline handed down by Belichick after he and 3 other players came to practice late was a clear violation of that team code.
Keep the faith!
ugh, I hate when that happens

A few years ago, if someone had suggested Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Ray Lewis could be on the same team
I’d have thought they were messing around with rosters on Madden.
